We hope that TripSearch will provide teachers with new and innovative ideas for school trips, to ensure the full potential of outdoor learning is realised. Simultaneously, we hope it will save teachers time in terms of research, by providing quick and efficient access to venues and the range of educational activities they offer.

TripSearch is not an exhaustive directory of school trips suggestions and the trips included are not necessarily tried and tested. An essential component of the thinking behind TripSearch is to establish an online community to allow teachers to share information about trips and the educational provision of the venues. It is hoped therefore that TripSearch will become an increasingly comprehensive database that highlights the very best in education outside of the classroom.
